8th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY

In December 2020, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards will be starting into the 8th round. As every year, the popular snowboard tour attracts many international snowboarders to travel to Zillertal. Under the aegis of the Ästhetiker crew, four tourstops will be on the schedule for 2020/2021. The events will go down in four different Zillertal snowparks, always with one day of coaching and training and a slopestyle competition day. This season´s series will be kicking off just before Christmas with the first tourstop on December 19th and 20th at Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach.

In the past seven years, Zillertal's famous snowboard tour has evolved into one of Europe´s top events for up-and-coming talents. „With the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY we are giving young talents the chance to get into professional snowboarding and breathe their first competition air,“ Ästhetiker president and snowboarding legend Steve Gruber explains. „The unique combination of coaching and contest proved its success over the past years. Many young athletes use the event series to benchmark themselves against international competitors and push their own levels to higher progression.“

Boardsports fans can look forward to four action-packed weekends in the Zillertal. The latest snowboards and bindings can be tested for free at the Ride Snowboards demo booth at every tourstop. And while the coaching day stands for freebie freestyle training sessions in small groups and together with snowboard pros, Europe´s rising stars will throw down their best tricks on the competition day to overawe judges, competitors and spectators. All four competitions come along with loads of medals, prizes and prize money. And while Ride Snowboards hands out brand-new snowboards to the gold-medalists, second presenting partner Blue Tomato will be organising funny side events and competitions on the coaching day. Horsefeathers deliveres a brand-new outerwear combo for all four Horsefeathers best trick winners.
With every contest result, athletes will accumulate points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2021 winners will be rewarded new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the fourth and final stage on Hintertux Glacier.

With every contest result, athletes will accumulate points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2021 winners will be rewarded new Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY family at the fourth and final stage on Hintertux Glacier. Riders participating in the tour, will also be collecting points on the International World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and the points from the first three VÄLLEY RÄLLEY events are further counting for the ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups. With the results from the first three stages, the best man, woman and rookies (U18) qualify for the Austrian Masters Slopestyle Finals. After the great finals of the actual Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2019/2020 hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards had to be postponed from April to October 2020, all eyes are on Hintertux Glacier now! The registration for the last tourstop 2019/2020, that will now take place on October 17th and 18th 2020 at Betterpark Hintertux, will open on October 1st at www.valleyralley.at. It´s understood that the actual safety precautions and conditions will be communicated and complied at all upcoming events. When the maximum number of registrations is reached, the sign-up will be closed immediately. There won´t be any late contest registrations on ground any more. It goes without saying that all Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY events are carried out in accordance with the latest security measures. As soon as the maximum number of participants is reached, the registration will be closed. Late registration on site is only possible for coaching.
