The Hintertux Glacier opens the snowpark and winter season in Europe at the beginning of September

Many things are changing, but what remains constant is the annual Hotzone.tv Park Opening in Hintertuxwhich will be held for the 17th time this autumn. From 30 September - 3 October 2021 the Hintertux Glacier invites you to the first park opening of the winter and thus traditionally opens the season for snowboarders.

The Hotzone.tv Park Opening is a fixed point in the calendar of snowboard professionals, industry representatives, media and snowboard enthusiasts to start the winter with like-minded people. There is something for everyone: Shredding in the Betterpark Hintertux, which is built as always by Wille Kaufmann and his team of the company Betterparks and is well looked after. Also this fall the Betterpark Hintertux is probably the first park in Europe that opens - already from the beginning of September - for the freestylers. In the park itself, which is suitable with different lines both for the pros and for freestyle beginners, you can then also immediately put the latest equipment of the present snowboard brands through its paces.

For the third time, the Zlllertal professional snowboarder Werni Stock hosts the "Werni Stock Invitationals" - the first Big Air session of the season. As a further highlight, the third edition of the "Metal Battle Night Rail Contest" hosted by SANE! Snowboarding ...will take place. Here the jibbers compete for fame and glory. And last but not least, the young snowboarders can test their skills at the Kids Session and compete with the other children in a playful way. Good to know: The Snowcard is valid from 1 October and can already be used at the opening.

Details of the supporting programme will be available from the end of August. All Covid-19 measures in force at the time of the event will be implemented as part of a safety concept, as was the case in 2020.
