"Schnitzel Time", An Austrian Dream

Reading time: 2 minutes

The new snowboard film by and with Clemens Millauer and the who's who of the Austrian snowboard scene

Schnitzel Time, there is probably no more fitting name for a snowboard film with purely Austrian participation with the aim of filming as much as possible on home soil. Professional snowboarder and filmmaker Clemens Millauer acts as director and producer of the film, with Olympic champion Anna Gasser, Zillertal's Werni Stock and Tom Tramnitz, snowboard brand founder Gigi Rüf, Innsbruck style icon Sani Alibabic and Carinthian Adrian Krainer also taking part. The short film celebrates its world premiere in October.

It all began last fall on the T-bar lift on the Stubai Glacier. Clemens and Werni Stock had the idea of bringing together some of the most famous names in the local snowboard scene for a film project. With the rest of the crew, ideas were hatched all day on the mountain, and in the last gondola on the way down Anna came up with the name of the project that was lifted out of the cradle that day: A movie that shows the different facets of snowboarding and the individual characters of the Austrian snowboard community. The film introduces the individual personalities with humorous lifestyle shots, paired with the finest action in the backcountry, in the park, but also in an urban environment. The short film (30 minutes) offers great entertainment for all winter sports fans!

Clemens Millauer (@clemensmillauer) explains: "Schnitzel Time, it really happened, my Austrian snowboard colleagues and I made a movie together! In the beginning we didn't have a fixed plan or concept, the daily motivation to snowboard led us from one spot to the next and the shots grew from day to day. The intros give an amusing insight into our personal fears and nightmares. I'm really looking forward to presenting the movie now."

WORLD PREMIERE - The premiere of "Schnitzel Time" will take place on October 6 as part of the Hintertux Park Opening; in the presence of the riders, who are looking forward to presenting their latest work. From November, the film will be available for everyone to watch for free on YouTube.
