Corvatsch AG is pleased to announce the date for the next FIS Freeski & Snowboard World Cup in the Corvatsch Park in Silvaplana: The event will take place from 25 to 27 March 2022 and will be the crowning season finale of the Freestyle World Cup Circuit.
The organizers are looking forward to the 9th edition with confidence. On the way to the FIS Freestyle World Championships 2025 in Engadin applies the World Cup Final 2022 as an important stage.
Traditionally, the freeskiers end their World Cup season in the Corvatsch Park. Since 2021, the snowboarders have also been taking part, as Silvaplana stepped in at short notice as the venue for a Covid-19-related cancellation. The last Slopestyle World Cup in the winter of 2021/2022 will once again be about prestigious event titles, FIS crystal globes and CHF 100,000 prize money for the freestyle pros.
Olympic medalists are sure to take part in the Freestyle World Cup in Engadin in March 2022. What better way to end the contest season than in a slopestyle course that was full of praise from the riders in 2021? Designer Kobi Würsch and his park crew will also build a special setup at 2,700 meters in 2022. Right now, Corvatsch Park is getting ready for Progression Days, where freestylers - whether amateur or pro - will trick their way into the new winter season at Corvatsch from November 27 to December 19, 2021.
