Snowboarder Clemens Millauer is making headlines these days. Just last weekend, the 26-year-old Olympian celebrated his second place in the Big Air World Cup. Now he is happy to announce his latest project. "Snowboarding Reverse" to present. A short film in which everything is different, as it is all about conquering the mountain from the bottom to the top. Instead of taking the lift up the mountain, then strapping on the snowboard and descending again, Clemens Millauer simply turns the tables and finds new ways to get to the top station, or rather to snowboard. He swaps the ski lift for a cable winch, skidoo and helicopter. You've never seen snowboarding like this before.

The native Upper Austrian, who has set up camp in Carinthia, had the idea some time ago. The seven-day shoot itself was preceded by a year of planning. His crew and the Flying Bulls worked out down to the smallest detail in advance how Clemens could move from the bottom to the top with sufficient speed. Various towing devices, including a cable winch, a skidoo and a helicopter, were used. In sporting terms, this was a major challenge, because despite careful planning, there were still many unknowns, as it is impossible to simulate going uphill on a snowboard in advance. The ideas were then implemented for the first time during filming and not everything worked straight away. Clemens says: "The feeling of riding uphill at 80 km/h is really crazy. It already feels fast going downhill, but it's so unnatural going uphill that it feels even faster. The biggest sporting challenge for me was definitely the rethink, you look up at the landing and you know you have to go over the kicker that you've already jumped over so many times in reverse." Anna Gasser, who can also be seen in the video, says: "Clemens always has the craziest ideas. The hardest thing about our trick together was the timing, making sure we really hit the rail at the same time. You're also a bit distracted when someone comes towards you at high speed, which is something you're really not used to in our sport."

Clemens and his friends made the "Mission Impossible" possible with a lot of planning, precise timing and above all teamwork. An action-packed performance that celebrates the creativity of snowboarding. The film was shot on the Shuttleberg in Flachauwinkl and features guest appearances by Anna Gasser, Adrian Krainer and Nina Gigele, among others.
