It\u2019s the first international contest of the season in a pre-Olympic winter and it\u2019s all about quota spots, snowboarding at the highest level and prestigious titles. In addition, the LAAX OPEN is considered a favourite contest for many riders.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<div class=\"media-credit-container alignnone translation-block\"  style=\"max-width: 2570px\"><span class=\"media-credit\"><a href=\"https:\/\/boardgeneration.ch\/en\/author\/bg_chef\/\" target=\"_self\">Pascal Kesselmark<\/a> | board generation<\/span><\/div>\n\tLAAX has been leading the way in freestyle for over three decades and has been voted the \u2018World\u2019s Best Freestyle Resort\u2019 by the public and jury four years in a row at the World Ski Awards. The multiple-awarded resort continues to step forward as a freestyle trailblazer even in extraordinary times and is taking every step necessary to ensure a safe winter season and World Cup. During the summer, LAAX confirmed to its association partners that it would make no compromises when it comes to sport and would continue to organise the competitions for women and men in both Slopestyle and Halfpipe.
