7th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY

Over a hundred snowboarders from all over Europe gathered for the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstops hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards on 29 February and 01 March 2020 in Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal. Andreas MonEpic Monsberger has summarized the highlights and results from the Mayrhofner Penken Park in a video:

To the 3rd. Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstop hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards the Mayrhofner Penken Park shone once again with a perfect setup. And Besides coaching sessions and Limbo Ride, the popular Penken Fun Ride Battle already on Saturday for many lucky winners. The best time was provided by Ästhetiker Coach and snowboard legend Friedl Kolar (AUT) with 38:53 seconds. Friedl won gold ahead of Germany team coach Niko Kyriazis, who beat him 39:16 with 39:16 seconds. Aesthetician President Steve came in third Gruber took the men's podium with a time of 39:63 seconds.

With the ladies last year's winner Anna Lora (AUT) was at the top of the podium and Elias Frantisek (CZE) won in the rookie class. From the international Lucia Plur de la Rosa (GER) and Valery Sytykh (BLR) provided the drivers' field the best times at the Groms. while Ella Gorcsosova (SVK) and Max Göpel (GER) led the Super Groms with best time.

On Sunday presented over a hundred snowboard talents from all over Europe show their best tricks at bright sunshine. In the end it was Jakub Hrones (CZE) who was the best of the day won the gold medal twice, namely in his age group in the Rookie Boys (16-18 years) and in the Open Class of all male driver. In the Rookie Girls' race Marie Hahnl (GER) made it to the very top of the at the top of the podium, while Emma Lantos (AUT) is in the Open Class of all of female riders with the best score took the victory.

With Serhii Sanzhapov and Vanessa Volopichova are each one Ukrainian and one Czech woman in first place among the Groms (13-15 years). Among the Super Groms (under 13 years) Emil Frey from Team Germany and Anna Tomanova (CZE) landed in first place in each case. Kristyna Kulik from Team CZE earned herself a stylish backflip won the Horsefeathers Best Trick Award. The award of the "Most impressive Grom of the day" finally went to 10-year-old Jonas Kröll from the local snowboard club M-town Riders.

The organization "Become-a-Pro" https://become-a-pro.net was present at the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Tourstop in the Penken Park to give young athletes an easier start into professional sports sponsoring with their platform.

Anna Schneeberger from the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen is pleased about the successful event: "Insanely motivated participants, a great event crew, the top shaped Penken Park, sunshine and lots of good Atmosphere - the 3rd Zillertal Välley Rälley tour stop was once again a mega Weekend in the mountains. Many thanks to the aestheticians for this ingenious event. We are already looking forward to next year!"

With the third of four contest results it will be exciting in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall standings. In the Rookie Boys and Overall-Men's ranking Jakub takes over Hrones took the lead, while Vanessa Volopichova (CZE) took the overall Grom girls and jumpsuit ladies. Hollie Smith (GBR) continues to dominate the Rookie Girls rating. Serhii Sanzhapov (UKR) builds up his pole position in the Groms off. Emil Frey (GER) and Shania Colsters (NED) will stay on after the 3. Tour stop in Mayrhofen at the top of the Super Grom Rankings.

Thus Jakub Hrones (CZE), Vanessa Volopichova (CZE) and Hollie qualify Smith (GBR) for the Austrian Masters in slopestyle. Jakub Hrones (CZE) and Vanessa Volopichova (CZE) also win as new VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall Leading between 13 and 18 years (Groms & Rookies) one wildcard each for the World Rookie Finals 2020.

For the Participation in Mayrhofen there were points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and the tour stop counted as ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup.

At the same time presented the event the official Super Grom Tour Final of all Austrian Participants under 16 years of age: And so comes the 2020 Super Grom Tour winner (U13) Jonas Kröll from Mayrhofen (AUT). In the U16 class Lukas Behensky (AUT) is happy about first place. The new Super Grom Tour Girls winner 2020 is Kristina Wood enemy.

The 25th and 26th. April the big Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY finals will take place at the Hintertux Glacier and the overall tour winners will be announced there after the 4th and last tour stop crowned to the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Royal Family 2020.
