First tour stop now ENDS FEBRUARY 2021 in MAYRHOFEN.
The season start of the 8th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards is now postponed to the end of February. Under the auspices of the snowboard club "Die Ästhetiker", the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY combines four snowboard events for young athletes under the umbrella of the Zillertal. All tour stops will be held with a training day and a contest day in "slopestyle" in four different Zillertal snowparks. New kick-off date is now February 27 and 28, 2021 at Penken Park in Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal. Andreas MonEpic Monsberger provides the outlook for the popular Zillertal Snowboard Tour:
Eight years of Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboard and on it goes! Thanks to the ongoing support of the Zillertal Tourismus GmbH, the Zillertal mountain railways and tourism associations, as well as loyal partners like Blue Tomato, Ride Snowboards, Red Bull, Horsefeathers and Dana Beanies, the popular VÄLLEY RÄLLEY will (hopefully) return to the Zillertal in 2021.
A weekend full of action in the Zillertal awaits snowboard fans at each of the four tour stops. Ride Snowboards provides the latest snowboard collection for free testing. And while new tricks are practiced during free freestyle coaching sessions on the training day, Europe's rising snowboard stars and starlets dig deep into their bag of tricks on contest day to grab a podium spot. In all four contests, there is prize money to be won in addition to medals and non-cash prizes. While Ride Snowboards and Blue Tomato offer prizes for the first place winners, Horsefeathers provides the main prize for the winner of the Best Trick Award.
With every contest result the participants collect points in the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY Overall Ranking. The overall tour winners will be crowned the new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY royal family 2021 after the fourth and last tour stop in spring 2021 at the Hintertux Glacier.
For each competition participation points are recorded on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) and the tour stops count as ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups. The Overall Tour winners qualify for the Austrian Masters in Slopestyle and Rookies (U18) collect points in the World Rookie Ranking, which qualifies them for the World Rookie Tour Finals.
