2020 has brought unexpected changes for many. So it's even nicer to know that you can rely on the crew of Absinthe Films, who will present a new snowboard movie like every fall. This year is the same and this despite a shortened winter season 2019/20, as resorts suddenly closed in March. CHANNEL ZERO is the 21st production of Justin Hostynek, Shane Charlebois and crew. In the well-known absinthe manner they have once again captured all facets of the sport they are so passionate about. Untracked powder runs, crazy tricks, jibbing in the city, travelling to exotic destinations and all the efforts in between, which riders and filmmakers put in to get the shots in the box - all this is shown by CHANNEL ZERO.

CHANNEL ZERO describes the state of mind when you are out in nature. The moment when you absorb everything and feel at one with the earth. For some it is the moment before you drift in. For others, when they are skiing in deep snow. What is your CHANNEL ZERO room? Justin describes it like this: "CHANNEL ZERO is the channel you don't find on TV. You have to go out in nature to turn on the frequency."
The film unites an extraordinary crew of riders. Among them are the Austrians Wolle Nyvelt, a real Absinthe veteran, as well as Tom Tramnitz and Clemens Millauer. Jamie Lynn not only has a movie part, but also created the poster. Ivika Jürgenson, Ylfa Rúnarsdóttir and Estelle Pensiero represent the snowboarders. Also present are Jeremy Jones, Nils Mindnich, Hans Mindnich, Garrett "Worm" Warnick, Sam Klein, Chris Corning, Roope Tonteri, Johan Rosen, Joon Ivanov and Sammy Blaze. Highlights of the film are e.g. the Damm history part, the Mindnich brothers or the Rosa Khutor trip.
