We are still flashed by the LAAX OPEN. It was a perfect week: from the weather - thank you Peter - to the organization - thank you Laax - to the riders - thank you upcoming Olympics - and the spectators - thank you CH government for being able to hold the event.
After last year's competitions had to take place without spectators, they came again in droves. Combine the great atmosphere on the mountain with the top performances of the boarders - some of them still had to qualify for the Olympics at the last competition - and you get again the magic moments for which Laax is so well known with the Open.
We will not stuff you with long texts. If you want to read everything in detail, then go to the official site of the OPEN: laax.com/open. There are also links to Redbull TV, where you can watch the entire competitions. So time to take out the popcorn and get cozy.
We'll keep it short here. The highlights of the slopestyle and halfpipe finals follow:
"Dream weather, dream course, a brilliant day "forWinner Sean Fitzsimons (USA) - Tess Coady (AUS)beaming from the podium with Anna Gasser (2nd, AUT) and Annika Morgan (3rd, GER)
