elho products 20/21: elho is back: the winter of 2020 will finally be freestyle again
Brightly it gleams in the galactic darkness. Three cosmonauts in neon-coloured outfits stand in the red moon dust. The design is oversized and unmistakable: elho. For two decades the brand had completely disappeared from the market. Now it is back. In the luggage: the new elho 1989 Heritage collection. 15 articles for piste and street are now offered as Limited Edition. Naturally available from the earth.
In the 80s, the elho freestyle collection caused an unprecedented hype on the slopes. A small team of winter sports and fashion fans has now secured the worldwide license and launched the Mission brand relaunch. The original cuts were digitalized in painstaking detail work. The elho designers have revised the fit, materials and workmanship and optimised them for today's customers. The templates have been changed as little as possible, because the radiance and energy of the collections from back then should not be lost under any circumstances.
Retro look without compromising comfort and performance.
Elho does not go retro, elho is heritage: the oversized cuts from original elho parts from 1989 have been modified and technically adapted to the expectations of today's winter sports enthusiasts. The authentic 80s details were adopted: Trousers have pleats; there are double decorative seams and double collars with contrasting colours and striking logo placements. A lot of function that can only be seen at second glance, the bright neon colours and the eye-catching fashion cuts: elho brings fashion back to the slopes. For the article descriptions, the designers have, so to speak, researched old advertisements and brochures with a magnifying glass. The names are original 89: from ski overall "Les Gets" to Beanie "La Grave".
Return of the coverall
Speaking of overalls: this is the highlight of the Heritage collection - reinterpreted and made fit for today's requirements. The result is a stylish homage to the past with strong inner values: waterproof, windproof, breathable, super comfortable and a perfect fit in every situation. Available in both men's and women's models, the new elho jumpsuit from the 80s offers a look and feel in a modern functional garment that is convincing in terms of style and performance.
Worldwide licensing rights for gradual brand expansion For the brand relaunch, a limited edition of 15 articles - slope clothing and styles for the street - will be launched. The worldwide licensing rights are secured. Once the Heritage collection reaches the earthlings of the 21st century, a gradual expansion of the brand is planned. The potential is enormous: Those who know elho from back then will be familiar above all with the elho freestyle collections from the wild 80s. Few people know that the brand has an impressive history: founded in 1948, patent for the first Jet Pants, first down collection on the German market, twice official supplier of Olympic Winter Games.
