Hintertux Park Opening '22 from 30.09. - 3.10.

In a few days, the international snowboard community will meet in Hintertux for the traditional first park opening of the season. For the 18th time, professional snowboarders, amateurs and the snowboard industry will meet to ring in the 2022/23 season at Betterpark Hintertux, once again taking over the Tuxertal valley from September 30 to October 3. Winter has returned in time and provided the first fresh snow on Tyrol's mountains.

EVENTS ON THE MOUNTAIN - The hub on the mountain is the Betterpark Hintertux. Werni Stock, Zillertal professional snowboarder and figurehead of the opening, unites international top riders for Werni's Big Air Session by QuiksilverStale Sandbech (NOR), Halldor Helgason (ISL), Ethan Morgan (GER), Fridtjof "Fridge" Tischendorf (NOR) and Mons Roisland (NOR). The session at the big kicker is open to anyone who wants to compete with the pros. Also at the Burton Quarterpipe Session everyone can show what they've got. The style factor is crucial here. Jibbers should be aware of the Cash for Trix Session at the rails, this also counts as qualification for the Metal Battle Rail Contest on Saturday evening.

Also for the offspring is provided, but the Kids Shred with joint riding and coaching by and with Gigi Rüf, accompanied by a photo shoot and a DJ workshop at the end a lot of variety. Also the "Grilogang" - Nina Grilc with kids - will be there to share with the kids their snowboard enthusiasm and a few runs (Registration KIDS SHRED). For all those who are excited about the new material, the snowboard industry offers with the Test Village at the Tuxer Fernerhaus the perfect opportunity to test the brand new boards and bindings of the season.

EVENTS IN THE VALLEY - The Ride Movie Premiere Night at the Tux Center is back! With great movies in the bag like Ride's latest team movie "Sincerely Yours" and other exciting flicks (admission free). Highlight in the valley is the new edition of the Metal Battle Rail Contests presented by SANE! Snowboarding. The jib scene, among them the young Englishwoman Mia Brookes, shows her skills on the obstacles, which are set up directly in front of the Hohenhaus Tenne. Thrills and crazy action are the order of the day with the daredevil maneuvers of the freestylers! And for those who still have not had enough, it goes directly to the Opening Party next door with finest beats (Party tickets).
