It's all about banked turns this weekend in LAAX as 300 riders of all ages gather for the 7th edition of the SuddenRush Banked Slalom. They face the challenging course with 23 banked turns and the goal to master it as fast as possible. Master and Pro categories made the start, with many familiar faces on the podium, among them Josh Dirksen (USA) and LAAX local Sina Candrian (SUI) as the winners of the Pro category. Josh says: "This is my first time at the Banked Slalom here in LAAX. A fluid course. A great day and a great organization!" Day 2 features the Open categories, traditionally those with the most participants. The children, youth and the Fakie Race will conclude the day.
The SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX stands for fun, friendship and openness. It's about enjoying time together on the mountain on the one board that means the world to them. Who wants to watch: Just take piste 66 from Crap Sogn Gion towards Plaun.
