Tour start of the 9th Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY

Under strict safety regulations, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards will start its ninth season on December 18 and 19 in the Hochzillertal - Kaltenbach ski region. The popular Zillertal snowboard amateur series offers young talents the opportunity to take part in free freestyle coaching sessions and compete against competitors of the same age in the open slopestyle competition, while adhering to the 2G rule. The online registration is now open at www.valleyralley.at unlocked. Registration will close on Thursday, December 16 and spaces are limited, so get on it!

There is good news! On Saturday, December 11, the Hochzillertal - Kaltenbach ski region started the winter season. And on 18 December, the Betterpark Hochzillertal celebrates its debut into the season with the 1st Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop. For guests of the mountain railways as well as the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY the 2G rule and FFP-2 mask obligation in closed rooms, at the registration, in the gondola and at the award ceremony applies.

Martha Schultz from the Bergbahnen Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach is happy to be able to offer young snowboarders a highlight again: "The snowpark is shaped and we can start with the 1st Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop. We are already very excited about our young snowboard talents. Now it's just a matter of registering and we Hochzillertaler are already looking forward to the event."

During the coaching day, small groups will be training in the Betterpark Hochzillertal and interested people can test the latest snowboards and bindings from Ride for free. On contest day, teams from all over Europe will compete in the open VÄLLEY RÄLLEY snowboard competition on the slopestyle course. A lot of medals, prize money and material prizes are waiting for the winners of the day. The best trick of the day will be honored by Horsefeathers with a special prize.

The first of four contest results in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach marks the start of the hunt for VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall points. The overall tour winners will be crowned the new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY royal family 2022 after the last tour stop at the Hintertux Glacier. Points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL) are also awarded for participation in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach and the tour stop is a recognized ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacup.
