Probably the warmest and probably the oldest snowboard event still going on (for the 24th year in a row), the Longboard Classic is this coming weekend.
The LBC is a non-profit event for snowboarders of all colors and ages. The "race" takes place in Chinese Downwhill format (mass start) and leads from the Albonagrat through the backcountry to the small town of Stuben (1001 meters altitude difference). With 400 to 500 active participants in the Oldschool, Longboard and Conventional categories for Kids, Womans and Mens respectively, the LBC is also the world's largest snowboard race.

And very important: the after-party in the evening...

The season is not over until the LBC was! Do not miss to finish the winter with friends.
