The Nines returns to Crans-Montana

From April 4 to 9, 2022, the action sports event series steeped in tradition will hold its next high-profile ski and snowboard session in the Valais Alps.

Thirty events. Fourteen years. Four countries. One mission: to create a unique platform for talent, friendship and progression in action sports - from skiing to snowboarding to mountain biking and beyond. From April 4-9, 2022, the Nines will return to Crans-Montana in Valais to celebrate their historic 30th edition. On the Plaine Morte glacier (2,750 m), they will continue their long tradition of pushing the boundaries of what is possible in freestyle sports and snowpark construction.

Crans-Montana's diverse sports infrastructure, including the Alaïa surf pool, skate park and snow park, as well as the massive Nines snow facilities, guarantee first-class action both on and off the slopes. In this freestyle paradise, a hand-picked squad of top international freeskiers and world-class snowboarders will gather for six days of filming and progression sessions, pushing each other to new heights thanks to the Nines' unique non-competitive format.

Some of the biggest names in freeskiing and snowboarding have already confirmed their participation. Among them are stars like Zeb Powell (USA, Snb), Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (NZL,Snb), Marcus Kleveland (NOR, Snb), Matěj Švancer (AUT, Ski), Anna Gasser (AUT, Snb), Jesper Tjäder (SWE, Ski), Sebbe De Buck (BEL, Snb), Taylor Brooke Lundquist (USA, Ski) and Tess Ledeux (FRA, Ski). And the list keeps growing...
